WELCOME to BIENVENUE à VIVO MUSIQUE

Contact: Glenda Rush (Glenda Marlene Ruch)

ABOUT VIVO MUSIQUE - Vivo Musique is a public relations and artist management company founded in 2004 by Glenda Rush (Legal name is Glenda Marlene Ruch)  to work independently with extraordinary music and entertainment artists and companies; whether already established with international careers and/or with talents who are undiscovered gems.

Vivo Musique is inspired by the wealth of international talents within Canada, and by international artists, projects, and companies who want to share with the diverse Canadian audiences- and specifically artists who may not necessarily fit into a Top-40 mold, but who cross boundaries of genre, language, demographic, culture and nationality.

Glenda Rush started her career in the music industry as a musician- bass player, guitarist, composer, and also worked as an actress in film and theatre projects. Before starting Vivo Musique in her native Montreal,  Glenda was based in Toronto, Canada, where she graduated from York University's Theatre program; and then worked for over 12 years in the Canadian music industry: Universal Music Canada/ The Verve Music Group as a National Jazz Publicist; at Warner Music Canada in International Marketing; and at PolyGram Records of Canada as a Sales representative in the Classical & Jazz division.

Glenda returned to Montreal in 2002 and launched Vivo Musique while independently promoting Montreal based Latin and Cuban musicians; and worked on a variety of public relations contracts in Canada and in the USA. She worked in the promotions department at CJNT-TV (CH Montreal- CanWest Global), Montreal's only multicultural television station; and is a seminar leader-teacher at Montreal’s Vanier College (CEGEP), in the Audio Recording Technology program.

In addition to a variety of wonderful public relations and media relations/music marketing projects, Vivo Musique has been proudly representing the great Cuban-Canadian pianist Hilario Duran; the internationally renowned Haitian-Canadian guitarist Toto Laraque, and the emerging Dominican-Canadian singer, 'el tsunami d'energia': Rafael.

Vivo Musique is based in Montréal, Québec, Canada, and is a member of the Music Managers Forum of Canada (MMF) and SOCAN. Glenda Rush is also an ACTRA member.
