Vivo Musique is inspired by the wealth of international talents within Canada, and by international artists/projects/companies who want to share with the diverse Canadian audiences; artists who may not necessarily fit into a Top-40 mold, but who cross boundaries of genre, language, demographic, culture and nationality.
Glenda Rush started her career in the music industry as a bass player, guitarist, composer, producer and actress and keeps active today. Before starting Vivo Musique, Glenda lived, worked and completed her education in Toronto, Canada. She is a graduate of York University's Theatre program; and worked for over 12 years in the Canadian music industry: Universal Music Canada- The Verve Music Group; (National Jazz Publicist) Warner Music Canada;(International Marketing) and at PolyGram Records of Canada. (Classicial & Jazz Sales division). During these years she produced a compact disc/demo of original songs with producers Chris Perry and Adam Alexander, featuring guitarist Kevin Laliberte.
Glenda returned to Montreal in 2002 and started Vivo Musique while promoting Montreal based Latin and Cuban musicians. She worked on a variety of public relations contracts in Canada and in the USA. She is a seminar leader-teacher at Montreal’s Vanier College (CEGEP), in the Audio Recording Technology program. She also worked in the promotions department at CJNT-TV (CH Montreal- CanWest Global), Montreal's only multicultural television station.
Vivo Musique is based in Montréal, Québec, Canada, and is a member of the Music Managers Forum of Canada (MMF) and SOCAN. Glenda Rush is also an ACTRA member and active in aspects of the film industry, voice work and theatre.
